We’re coming to the end of our first real family vacation week. Yes, I had to work, but only 9 am-1 pm on Monday and 7:30 am to 10 am on Wednesday. We did a little bit of work around the house in the earlier part of the week, but then we decided [...] Chuck’s on vacation this week, yay! Family fun time… I still hadn’t been feeling well, so when Nicky woke up this morning at 5 o’clock, Chuck took care of him and got him back to sleep for another couple of hours, then again until I woke up around 8:30. After Nicky’s morning nap, we [...] We went for a walk today…4 miles! I was exhausted but it must have gotten my circulation going, ’cause my ankles look great! We rewarded ourselves with a nice, relaxing swim in Tina’s pool…ahh! We’re on vacation! Yay! The restaurant Black & Blue was an excellent choice for our 5th Anniversary dinner. It was also a great way to start what has already turned out to be a busy vacation. Saturday we did a lot of organizing around the house. Our master bathroom is nearly finished and we [...] Quick update to the previous vacation post… We had such a wonderful stay in Niagara Falls, ON. The bed at the DoubleTree Resort Lodge and Spa was the best we’ve ever slept on at a hotel. After a bit of walking/shopping with Mom and Dad Brownsten the one day, we were fit to just relax. The [...] Yippee! Chuck and I drove to Buffalo to stay with his parents on Friday night, then we left for Columbus yesterday morning. My ankles started swelling LOTS with the heat, so Chuck put the front seat down with a pillow on it so that I could put my feet up from the back [...] |
